OUR TEACHERS

All our teachers are USAG Gymnastics Safety Certified and specially selected and trained to safely bring out the best in each child by encouraging each child to exceed their perceived limitations.  Without question, it is special teachers who have made American Gymnastics Academy one of the #1 children's programs in Fort Worth.

STARS AND STRIPES GYMNASTICS CURRICULUM

Our Stars and Stripes curriculum is based on the USAG Jr. Olympic Program, as well as our 25 years experience of teaching gymnastics to children.  The Stars and Stripes curriculum is designed to provide a non-competitive, achievement-oriented program of progressive skills, conditioning and flexibility. For the more advanced and serious student we offer USAG girls competition teams.

WHICH CLASS SHOULD I ENROLL MY CHILD IN?

We use skill level as the primary variable to determine your child's class time.  We then subdivide each class into logical, homogenous training groups.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?

Girls should wear a leotard. Boys wear shorts and a T-shirt tucked in. When tumbling, bare feet are best. Hair should be pulled back for safety, as long hair interferes with rolling, somersaulting, and twisting skills. Please no gum or jewelry.
